WORLD CLASS MANAGEMENT AND SERVICE
EXCELLENCE THROUGH TRAINING ACADEMY

Our reputation is built on the consistency of our impeccable service, which is grounded in the training we deliver in shaping excellent masters and commanders of yachts and ships for the future. Meridian Adventure prides itself in delivering a world-class and trusted experience on board for all its guests. This is achieved through the management of regular drills and highly-purposed accreditation, ensuring qualified crew not only have trusted navigational expertise of oceans but also firm knowledge of all adventure activities and best practices to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip.

We do this through the Meridian Adventure Academy.

The Meridian Adventure Academy is focused on delivering a complete maritime based education at the highest standards: with comprehensive theoretical and practical training. Each year only a few candidates are selected for the honour of joining the Academy. The detailed year-long program has been created and remains steered by CEO and Captain, Sean Galleymore, whose revolutionary and multi-disciplined Academy ensures that those entering and completing the program end up as qualified skippers, with an employment contract, an income and lifetime career ahead of them. The best candidates will be offered a contract with the Meridian Adventure Charter Fleet to operate our yachts in up to 9 different regions around the world. These candidates are mentored and developed into industry leaders as the company progresses them with a career path that sees their formal education peak at Master Unlimited.

Developing Future Leaders of the World

  • RESPECT
  • TEAMWORK
  • DISCIPLINE

The most valuable investment any company or industry can make is in the development of its future leaders. Meridian Adventure is not just developing future leaders of the maritime industry but the skills learned in the cadet programme will shape the world’s future leaders.

A career at sea is one of the most intense workplace environments that there is. Not only are you working and living in close quarters with your colleagues, but you must have the deepest respect for the ocean environment in order to survive. The Meridian Adventure Academy is investing in the future leaders of the marine industry by providing the starting platform for a career at sea, an 18 month cadetship.

“By enlisting, you will grow and develop not only the theoretical and practical knowledge of your chosen profession, you will also grow as a person.

You will understand your strengths, your weaknesses, and your limitations, as well as find within yourself the skills to lead. It is an opportunity to find in oneself self-discipline and accountability, whilst enjoying the adventure of a career at sea.”
